1. About the Service
SilverSpiritsGoldenYears is a wellness companion app for older adults and their families. It provides daily activities, brain games, Bible study, mood tracking, journaling, and an AI companion. The app is operated by Sylvia, based in New York.
2. Not Medical, Therapy, or Financial Advice
SilverSpiritsGoldenYears is not a medical, therapy, or emergency service. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, clinical advice, or financial advice. The AI companion is a computer program — not a person and not a counselor.
Always consult a licensed professional for medical, mental health, or financial decisions. In a crisis, call or text 988. For emergencies, call 911.
3. AI Companion Disclosure
The companion you chat with is powered by artificial intelligence. It is not a human being. It may make mistakes or produce responses that are not appropriate for your situation. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, or financial decisions. Conversations with the companion are stored in your account.
4. Plans, Pricing, and Payment
SilverSpiritsGoldenYears may offer free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (such as Stripe). Any plan details, prices, and special offers will be shown at the time of purchase.
No automatic renewal. Paid plans do not automatically renew. When your plan period ends, your access to paid features will end unless you choose to purchase again.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
You can stop using the app at any time. Since plans do not automatically renew, you will not be charged again unless you make a new purchase. If you are unsatisfied with a paid plan, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. Community Rules
When using group chat or community features, you agree to:
- Be kind and respectful to others.
- Not post harmful, threatening, or abusive content.
- Not share personal or sensitive information about others without their consent.
- Not use the app for any illegal purpose.
- Not spam or harass other users.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
7. Minimum Age
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Family Circle members who are invited to view a senior's wellness summary do not need an account but are expected to use the feature responsibly.
8. Your Data and Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Limitation of Liability
SilverSpiritsGoldenYears is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any harm resulting from reliance on the app, the AI companion, or any content within the app. You use the app at your own risk.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in New York.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
