Information We Collect

• Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account or sign in with Google.
• Diary entries and life stories: The journal entries and memories you choose to write and save.
• Mood logs: Your daily mood entries and optional journal notes.
• Chat messages: Messages you send in group chat channels and to the AI companion. These are stored so you can view your conversation history.
• Family Circle data: The names and emails of family members you invite, and the connection settings you choose.
• Private Support posts: Posts you make in the private support area. These are tied to your account, even though they are displayed without your name to other users.
• Payment information: If you purchase a paid plan, your payment is processed by our payment processor (such as Stripe). We do not store your full card number — the processor handles that securely.
• Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the app, such as which features you use and your activity streaks.

Who Can See Your Data

• You: Only you can see your diary, mood logs, life stories, and private journal entries.
• Family Circle members: When you invite family to your Circle, they can see a weekly wellness summary (such as how many days you logged a mood or did an activity) and send you gentle nudges. They cannot see your diary entries, mood journal text, or private support posts.
• Other users: Other users can see your name and profile photo in group chat channels and the community directory. They cannot see your private data.
• Our team: Sylvia and authorized administrators may access account data to provide support, maintain the app, and ensure safety. We access private content only when necessary to resolve a reported issue or comply with legal obligations.

The AI Companion

Our companion is powered by an artificial intelligence service. When you chat with the companion, your messages are sent to the AI service to generate a response. Your conversation history is stored in your account so you can review it later. The AI is not a person — it is a computer program, and it does not provide medical or therapy advice.

What "Anonymous" Means in Private Support

The Private Support area lets you post about mental health, loneliness, grief, or anxiety. Your posts are displayed without your name to other users. However, your posts are still tied to your account — our administrators can see who authored a post if needed for safety. "Anonymous" means other users cannot see your name, not that the platform has no record of who you are.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We never sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share your data with advertisers. Your information is used only to provide and improve the app, and to connect you with the family members you choose to invite.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your diary entries, mood logs, memories, chat messages, and other personal data within 30 days. Some records may be retained longer if required by law or to resolve ongoing disputes.

Your Rights: Download and Delete

You can download a copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deleting your account removes all your personal data and cannot be undone.
